This privacy policy describes data processing on the current Gastro at FCN website. The website provides information, external links, a booking form and contact options by telephone and email. It does not provide customer accounts, newsletter registration, analytics or marketing services.

2. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on the existing server infrastructure of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When a page is accessed, the web server processes connection data required for technical operation. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested address or file, transferred data volume, HTTP status, referrer and information about the browser and operating system.
The processing is required to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security and detect technical errors or abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.
Log data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer required for technical operation or for preventing faults and attacks. If data is required to investigate a specific security incident, it may be retained until the investigation is complete and for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
3. Local storage and cookies
This website currently does not use analytics, marketing or other optional cookies. Only the technically necessary language selection is stored in your browser's local storage:
- gastro-fcn-language: remembers whether you selected German or English.
The entry remains stored until you delete your browser data or select another language. Storage is necessary under Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG to provide the language setting you expressly requested. To the extent that personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Booking form, email and telephone
If you use the booking form, call us or send an email, we process the information you provide. This includes in particular your preferred area, number of guests, date and time, name, contact details, your message and, where applicable, organisation details. The information is processed solely to check, handle and personally confirm your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a booking, event or other pre-contractual or contractual matter; in all other cases it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our interest in answering enquiries.
The form data is received by the web server and forwarded by email to FcNDave@gmail.com. The booking request is not additionally stored in a website database.
Emails sent to FcNDave@gmail.com are processed through Google's Gmail service. The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing by affiliated Google companies outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, cannot be ruled out. Further information about legal bases, transfers and retention periods is available in Google's privacy policy.
Enquiries are deleted once they have been fully dealt with and there are no statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage. Business records are retained for the period required by law.
5. Photographs on the website
Some images depict AI-generated, non-real people. They are not depictions of actual guests.
6. External links
The website contains links to Google Maps, Lieferando and Instagram. Content from these providers is not embedded in the website. A connection to the relevant provider is only established when you open such a link. In particular, your IP address, device and browser data and the destination page may then be processed. The relevant provider is responsible for the subsequent processing.
